A group of sculptures play as actors, they reflect upon time, philosophy, life meaning, emigration, speaking an unintelligible language the viewer can detect just thanks to the subtitles. The artist's hands move the scupltures and the cartoon bubbles. Two versions: english and italian subtitles.

Young mothers with their childrens, aged between 6/8 months to one year old, are sitting before the camera – one at a time – unmoving, looking intensively to the camera. Only from time to time do they turn to the baby when she/ he needs attention, but right afterwards they return to their previous stage: a separate, timeless concentration. The video has been shot in the Umbria countryside, in Monteleone d'Orvieto.

Marvelous places testify to a beauty that is currently overwhelmed and wounded by the contemporary world. The images are in complete antagonism to the scrolling texts: contemporary news taken from newspapers and television news. My voice sings ò marenariello, one of the most famous songs of the classical Neapolitan repertoire.

Shot in Berlin at the seasonal Chistmas market in front of Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtnis Kirche. The camera takes the endless movements of a multitude of plastic ducks constantly turning in a tank for fishing. The sound is direct take.

Shot at the zoo in Berlin, the video focuses on the observation of a tank where several species of ducks constantly swim back and forth, covering all the space available to them. The sound is direct take.

The video, shot in Madras, India, is a collage of some Indian commercial films from the ‘60s presenting typical female stereotypes: the sinful woman, the saint, the bride. The title refers to an old Italian song very popular during the '40s and '50s, when the Italian cultural patterns were identical to those of the so-called third world.

Shot in 2005 in Mysore, India, in the main market. As in the other films shot in Benares the work is focused on visual perception, on vanished spatial perspective references. The sound is direct take.

The video, entirely shot at the Rome zoo, is a take on a Malaysian Bear while he waits for his evening meal. The camera recording is a close up on the animal’s nose and mouth for the entire duration of the action. The agitation of the animal is recorded until the arrival of the food that is finally eaten.
